He gently let go of her as she kissed his cheek and walked away. She was serious, no matter how many times she had said things like this before she never sounded serious, but this time she really really meant it and if he didn't stop it she was really going to leave him. He would go over to her house and see if he could butter her up a little, but he assumed she'd go riding after school like she did quite often, so he had to head out and maybe head over to Lucas' house and hang out there for a while. He was always fun. They could go dirt biking or something dumb and fun like that.

Jacoby pulled into the driveway of his house and he saw Da Vinci out in the field, watching him with a close eye as he parked the lime green and black Kawasaki in the garage. He picked up a few sugar cubes from the bag that he had on the table out there and walked over to the horse, using a gentle hand to rub his nose, but he nudged Jacoby in the side, knowing he had something for him. A soft whicker escaped the stallion's vocals and Jacoby handed him one of the two cubes, then walked to the gate. Vinci followed, lipping his fingers trying to get the other cube. He smiled slightly and opened the gate and took the black halter in his hand as he gave him the other treat.
James walked out to see Jacoby with the bruises on his features as he arrived home from school. He rushed over to Jacoby and looked at the young lad's features. "Can I help you with anything sir? You look a tad rough today..." he asked before Jacoby shooed him away. James' hands rested on his waist as he watched the young master walk his horse to the barn. Why did Mr. Vivian bother hiring him for the kids if one was never home, and the other was completely unwanting of any contact with other human beings.
Jacoby walked the stallion in the barn and tied his halter to the cross ties as he brushed down his coat and settled the saddle on his figure and then did a combination of pulling the halter off and slipping the bridle on his delicate face. He unhooked the halter and hung it on his stall door before using the step stool to mount Da Vinci before trotting him out of the barn and down a back trail that lead to the park. His hooves carried both Jacoby and the stallion over the lands with quite a bit of ease. Hailey had worn hi out yesterday by taking him to the canyon where they had been trying to catch a mare. He hadn't seen Hailey around since so he guessed she was trying to get the creature to like her after taking her from her home. That thought made Jacoby roll his eyes as he lead Vinci through the trees, gently brushed the reins against his neck to get him to turn in each precise area.

Chante's golden auds pricked and she gave an entusiastic whinny at the smell of a stallion.Sierra stood in the stirrups easing the speedy mare down from the gallop that had flown them over the three foot log,she brought Chante to a controled canter.Looking up hesitantly,it was the only way to go back, she erged Chante forward into a smooth, bouyant(sp?) canter. The mare popped over the log and cantered easily along the trail.Sierra slowed her to a trot. And posted to the steady rythmn. The mare glittered as they exited the opening, her perfect conformation glowed.Sierra caught sight of the gray stallion and his rider..Jacoby....Sierra tipped her head away and heeled Chante into a canter and they flew past Jacoby. She sat back as soon as she passed and slowed the horse gently.
Chante grazed intently,Sierra swung her leg over her back,as soon as her feet hit the ground, her troubles flooded back. She slipped Chante's bridle off and replaced it with a halter.Tied her securily to a tree limb. She leaned against it and sank down, ignoring the scrapes that now scattered her back from the tree's bark.Maybe Corey would come to the park.Maybe they could work things out.Maybe.

Corey and Lucas had been out riding through the dirt trails of the park when they seen Jacoby riding through the paths. At first they were not sure if it was him, but a glinted that the sun caught off the splint on his nose assured them it was him. They followed rather quietly on their bikes and trailed him all the way down until he took a short cut as if he knew they were following.
The two made their way easily through the trails of the park, finding it easy to glide over the obstacles that blocked their path. Da Vinci was moving rather smoothly and he was slowly getting the tension from his muscles that he'd worked hard with the day before. Yes they'd stretched him in the barn but a ride was much more fun and less boring for them to work with. They could go out and easily walk the day away as well as see the sights outside their own lands. They stopped for a moment, deciding which way to go when another horse and rider rushed by them.
Da Vinci raised his torso a bit, pulling his hooves off the ground as the golden flash pushed past him quickly. The stallion backed up and tossed his cranium angrily as a loud cry escaped his lungs. A snort blew from his nostrils as fire from a dragon and ears pinned themselves back against his crown as Jacoby pulled tight on his reins, and gently stroked the stallion's neck as he trotted him around to start making a smooth circle. The stallion's gate was extended into long easy strides as his eyes were focused on the path ahead of him. Jacoby lead the stallion off down the path to where the other had gone. He carefully brought the stallion to a walk and eased himself off the back of the Andalusia before holding tightly to his reins. "Between you, your boyfriend and me someone is not going to have a happy ending... what was that all about?" he asked as he held the stallion at ease when he saw the mare that had rushed by him before. His eyes narrowed but looked over her features as he pawed the ground beneath him.
Jacoby was still dressed in the same black jeans and wife beater that he was wearing earlier in the day and three out of the four times he’d been hit today showed themselves clearly on his pale features. Three bruises were easily seen on his face, one on the lowest part of his jaw and the other two up a bit higher, one being on the left and the other on the right. His pupils were a bit wider from having to take pain killers for his face and now newly broken nose. The split that Corey had oh so lovingly decided to poke as he left school was still there and his blue eyes gazed upon her.
They got lost for another good ten minutes and they finally found him again, now leading his horse down to a clearing where another was with her horse. Corey recognized the horse to be Sierra’s. Perfect excuse to go down there, but he would resist the urge to fight him for it. Together Lucas and Corey took a cut through the woods to end up on Sierra’s side and glared at Jacoby. “Sierra, what’s going on here?” he asked, propping up his bike and walking over to her.

It was about alot of things.Sierra said in a hushed whisper, ignoring his remark as Corey cut through the tree's,Chante shied at the rustling and Sierra was immediatly to her feet to calm the mare.Chante settled when she recognized the face as Corey.Sierra turned to face Corey and Jacoby.Nothing...Her voice wasn't nervous, just hesitant. She wasn't lying, and Corey should know that. She focused her eyes of Chante's neck, smoothing the mare's cropped mane.

"So why don't you tell me these things so we can get them fixed and move on out of these tough, unbearable moments. That would be much better, eh?" he spoke with a calm and even voice as he asked her to explain so they may perhaps move on from these childish arguments that keep popping up quite often on a daily basis. Da Vinci remained calm as the rustling sounded in the bushes. Next thing seen was Corey and his little pet Lucas arriving to the scene with their dirt bikes. Jacoby sighed inwardly and Da Vinci watched the other two as his neck was stroked by a gentle hand. Jacoby's eyes rested not on one particular person, just on the scene in front of him which held two dunces, a horse and a lady who was trapped in the middle.
Corey's eyes never left Jacoby as he stood in silence. He knew Sierra's words were honest, but they were slightly hesitant as she spoke them. "What's wrong?" he asked her quietly, still letting his eyes focus on Jacoby.
He blinked and locked gazes with Corey, his blue eyes staring back into the green eyes that were Corey's. Those deep green eyes that were the color of envy. For what, he wasn't quite sure but they amused him. They were so easy to read and so fake. He was holding back anger for being here with his girlfriend although they weren't technically even doing anything. That's how those types of men were though. They were extremely possessive and what's theirs is theirs and what's his is theirs.

Sierra watched the two for a moment,Lucas was just standing on the sidelines. She shrugged her shoulders, giving a final pat to Chante before dropping her arm to her side.Nothing really. She glanced over Corey in a stance of envy..Shaking her head once again. In a low whisper she said.Remember what I said.Sierra turned away and focused on putting Chante's bridle back on.

Jacoby watched the girl in silence as she totally avoided his comment. He rolled his eyes and looked back into Corey's eyes. Sierra confused Jacoby quite a lot. It she didn't make any sense and it weirded him out a little. He'd ask her to explain and she didn't even answer him. What was wrong with that? He didn't know, but something was wrong with her. He turned his icy gaze away from Corey's and put his foot into the stirrup of the saddle and pulled himself up. He stroked the stallion's muscular neck as he disappeared into the thick brush of the trail. Da Vinci snorted roughly and forced his pace faster then Jacoby wanted him to go, but he was being stubborn and didn't listen a bit. Jacoby didn't want anything to do with the three of them and he wished that Corey wanted nothing to do with him, but everyday it was the same old story. He got picked on and beat up in the halls whenever they ran into one another.
Corey watched in silence as Jacoby moved away from the area. Corey watched as Sierra focused on putting on the horse's bridle. "You seem different today. You seem so out of it..." he said glancing at his girlfriend with gentle eyes. He wanted to know what was going on with her today.

Sierra watched as Jacoby mounted his horse and Da Vinci galloped off faster then Jacoby would let him.She looked over to Corey, why do you think I'm in a mood?Sierra asked sharply, turning completely to face him.I saw the look in your eyes,I'm almost happy Jacoby ran off with the gray stallion of his,I don't know how things could've ended up.Sierra met his eyes carefully. Then muttered, more whispered.I'm sorry Corey,I just can't take this fighting.Tears brimmed her eyes and she burried her face in the golden mare's neck.

"That look didn't man anything Sierra. Things wouldn't have ended up like anything because I wasn't going to start something." his tones were kind of harsh and defensive but softened them up as the tears brimmed in her eyes. "I don't know what to tell you because I'm trying to stop, but if you want to go out with someone else... then do it." he said quietly, his tones sounding rather defeated as she said she couldn't take the fighting anymore. This was him, and if she didn't like the way he was then she would have to find someone better then the captain of the football team to be her boyfriend. Corey could get tones of girls as she could get guys, and many of them would be much less violent then Corey, which she'd just adore. He didn't know what else to say to her because he felt defeated. the captain isn't supposed to feel that way, but when he's not with the team he can't do much about it. Sierra wanted someone who was gentle and loveable, not rough and loveable.
Jacoby slowed Da Vinci to a calm and smooth paced trot as he fell back against the stallion's figure, letting his eyes gaze up at the sky above him as Da Vinci stopped to graze. He just laid back on his horses back as he looked up. He tried to figure out the problem Corey had with him and the best he got was a cold stare. He'd tried asking Sierra because she seemed nicer then Corey but she was hopeless. She was too soft for her own good to be dating a guy like him. It was pointless for him to even think about this stuff though. she'd break up with him, and Corey would blame it all on Jacoby which would be more of a reason to kill him... It was what things would boil down to by the end of high school. Jacoby's obituary would read "Victim for life." Simple as that.

Sierra listened the the harsh tones, but just barley, just to keep the salty tears from streaming. To busy herself, she gently, slowly, pulled the scrunchy from her deep burnett hair, letting it spill over her shoulders, then tucked one side behind her ear, letting the other waved side hide half of her face as she let a single tear fall, and roll gently down her cheek.Suddenly, she looked up,tossing her hair backward and onto her back, brushing the tear away with it.Corey Swartz!I can't believe you just said that! This wasn't a motherly tone at all,but Sierra wasn't usually one to yell,it was suprising to even here the slightest elevation in her voice. She let a sharp, small, but quick laugh roll from her toung.I know your tying, and you've already improved. She smiled. There's no one in the world! The world! She repeated. That I'd rather go out with, than you.I can't believe you would THINK that, let alone stay it!Her smiled widened. She caught his eyes, waiting for his reaction.
