The fast paced lyrics of the song played into his ears through a small white set of ear bubs that attached to an iPod that was strapped to his arm as he ran down the path of the park. In his left hand was a dog that pulled tight on a black leash by the name of Chance. He was a thin, stocky boxer coated in the 'normal' boxer coat pattern. A mainly brown body with a white chest and underside. His front legs were all white and his back two had small socks on them. His jaws were spread wide as a big pink tongue lolled out the side. In his right hand was another boxer dog that pulled on a pink leash and her coat was entirely black, her name was Maggie. She had no color what-so-ever showing on her figure except for her white teeth and pink tongue that showed clearly.
The boy that held tightly onto the leashes didn't look a day older then 17 years and was in pretty good physical condition, yet he still went jogging every morning and every other night, depending on how he felt. He was dressed in a black wife beater and black running shorts that were long on him. His black tennis shoes helped him spring off the ground with easy steps that carried him and the dogs along the path. His features were pale and he was concentrated on the area around him as well as the dogs he controlled in front of him. Lips moved as he silently mouthed the words to the fast paced song that gave him a beat to his running.
Now, you've been keeping love from me
Just like you were a miser
And I'll admit I wasn't very smart
So I went out and found myself
A guy that's so much wiser
And he taught me the way to win your heart
Just like you were a miser
And I'll admit I wasn't very smart
So I went out and found myself
A guy that's so much wiser
And he taught me the way to win your heart
Dark brown eyes gazed at the watch on his right arm and he watched the seconds tick by and returned his gaze to the world around him, making sure he stayed out people's ways. That was the one thing that annoyed him the most was that people walked on the jogging oath and they expected him to give them the right of way. What was that? Just because they are slower then the runners and joggers that travel these paths they get their way? that made no sense to Adrian, but he wasn't about to get in a fight with any of these people. He could loose his playing privileges and he didn't want that at all.
He slowed to a jog and stopped at a water fountain where there was a dish for dogs to drink out of. He stepped on the footpad and it filled the water dish a bit. Both boxers dipped their muzzles into it, drinking all the water they could before he turned it off to give their stomachs a break. He took a drink of water and drank it slow, then took another. The boxers sat beside one another, panting at the same pace and looking around with their wide and curious eyes. Their stubby tails shook back and forth waiting for Adrian to fill the water dish again. He pressed his foot against the peddle as he got another drink himself. The dogs stuck their heads in the bucket drinking to cool themselves before they went on their cool off walk around the park.
Ooo eee, ooo ah ah ting tang
Walla walla, bing bang
Ooo eee, ooo ah ah ting tang
Walla walla, bing bang...
Ooo eee, ooo ah ah ting tang
Walla walla, bing bang
Ooo eee, ooo ah ah ting tang
Walla walla, bing bang
Walla walla, bing bang
Ooo eee, ooo ah ah ting tang
Walla walla, bing bang...
Ooo eee, ooo ah ah ting tang
Walla walla, bing bang
Ooo eee, ooo ah ah ting tang
Walla walla, bing bang
The song finished and Adrian lowered the volume on his iPod and whistled softly, grabbing the attention of the two boxers. "Maggie, Chance, c'mon." he called and the boxers stood, trotting to his side as he walked them around then. He tightened their leashes a bit so they didn't have room to run from him, or cause a commotion by trying to go up to people. He'd only had one bad run-in with bringing his dogs here. Chance had tried to go up to some kid in the sand box and the kid just screamed at the top of his lungs. Chance backed off, but Adrian got yelled at for 'letting his beast roam without a leash.' If he saw that lady again he'd tell Chance to attack her.
