Serenity's tail flagged and her auds slicked upward, she bolted into the arena, nearly colliding with the fence as she realized she was trapped. The filly reared, pawing the air harshly.Water sloshed as it was set down.Serenity almost refused to drink, but the freshing liquid tempted her too much. The gray took long, deep gulps. The warm sweat on her neck had slicked the fine hair down, leaving it smooth and hot.As Da Vinci spoke Serenity looked up.Don't expect it to get any easier...

"I didn't." he said with a simple smirk as he dropped his cranium down to get a drink of the cool liquid. His mouth took in the water as if his lips were a straw. The cool liquid sloshed around in his mouth, replenishing all the parts that had been dry then easily slid down his throat as Hailey looked upon the filly. She longed to reach out and stroke her, but for one she knew not of the reaction and for two she was sweating a lot, just as Da Vinci was. Hailey removed the tack from his body and set it out for a while as she led him into the barn to get his halter. She placed it on his delicate face as she removed the bridle and set it with the saddle and other things.
Da Vinci turned his head to watch the filly as she was left alone in the pen. His dark pools never left her as Hailey scraped off his coat and gently cleaned him with a comforting shower. once again she scraped the extra water off his pelt and pet him lovingly as she lead him back out with just a hand holding his halter. He dipped his head back down toward the bucket and she smiled faintly. "So, like the space here? It's going to be your new place of residence." Da Vinci spoke again once he raised his head.

Serenity looked at the white railing the enclosed her,she charged to a fence, catching herself before she almost slammed into it again. Her head lowered in defeat. She didn't know what layed ahead of her.Touch,Grooming,Tack....Riding.The gray flicked an ear toward the stallion that spoke. With a simple, single word, she answered.
No.

"Well then. Good luck." He said as he raised his head and nickered to her lovingly before nudging Hailey out of her daze. He was tired of speaking with this mare that seemed totally unwanting of any other contact with another horse. Totally understand of course, but still she may as well make the best of it. The fences were too high for most to jump, and if they attempted they were hurt in the process. She wouldn't be able to escape and that would be interesting to watch her, because Da Vinci knew she would try. Everyone had the urge to try many times no matter what the odds against them were. Hailey patted his muzzle and led him to the fields, were the better grass and much more open space was. His gray pistons carried him off into the field, running almost freely as he came went toward the center. As usual Hailey didn't lock the gait all the way, allowing Da Vinci to exit the field and continue to stand near the wild horse that was now recently added to the barn.
"I'd let you in there too, but knowing him something unplanned would happen." she said, putting more water in the filly's bucket. She smiled very faintly as she stayed away from the fence and wandered off to go put his tack away.

Serenity snorted, throwing her head down and exploding with several bucks. She bolted, legs churning ever so faster as she accelerated with each,ground-eating stride. Her silver mane flagged in the wind, her neck arched. Her andalusian blood breaking through in high steps and proud arches. She slowed, pricking her auds as Hailey walked away..Maybe it wouldn't be so bad..

Da Vinci stayed out in the field for a little while longer before wandering to the fence as he watched the graceful and yet powerful moves that the mare made. She knew not what was held in store for her as she wasted her energy. Hailey may have seemed like an unsteady girl when they were out there earlier, but when it comes to breaking she is very steady and almost scary. She knows how to stay on the back of the horse and stays until they are under control. It was almost sort of scary to see. "Don't waste too much of your energy..." he warned calmly, as he watched the filly in the pen.
Hailey returned carrying another saddle and bridle, not ones that Da Vinci had been ridden with but they were a different set and the stallion's eyes and ears became alert as the girl started to talk to the new horse. "Hey girl... You were tough earlier today." she cooed lovingly. She was so glad that she had been out there at the right time because she was a gorgeous horse and she showed lots of energy and endurance. A good horse she was and a better horse she could be. It interested Hailey greatly about what she might be able to accomplish.

Serenity eyed Hailey uneasily, but lowered her head to graze. The saddle in her hands looked big,and Serenity was dtermined not to let it touch her.The bit jingled on the bridle, causing the gray to shy,she lifted her head and watched it with half pricked ears.

Hailey set the saddle on the ground next to the fence before carefully approaching the side and dangling the bridle for the mare to see. She climbed over the fence and sat on the top rail to see what the mare would do. She'd already shied away from it before, there was a little chance that she'd come closer, but then again wild horses were totally unpredictable. Hailey was bad at judging things in first appearances but either way she was ready for however the creature may react.
Da Vinci dropped his ears as he watched Hailey climb up onto the top of the fence for the pen. She'd fallen off of there so many times before the poor child, but she still insisted upon sitting up there. She thought she could read horses and sometimes it worked while other times it didn't. Da Vinci nickered softly, wishing he could warn Hailey but she only looked over to him and said it'll be alright. The stallion hung his head and watched the two of them with a very careful eye. He didn't want Hailey to get hurt, but there wasn't much he could do for her.

Serenity snorted, watching her carefully. With a hesitant step, she moved forward, she came within feet of Hailey, but she was focusing on the leather hanging from the girl's hand.

Da Vinci watched the horse carefully as she neared Hailey with very hesitant steps. Alright, first thing done was the she hadn't reacted violently to Hailey being so close. She had been hesitant and very calm.
Hailey remained still as the filly stepped closer. She didn't want to scare her and make her feel threatened. It was good that she had calmly came forward to examine the object that Hailey held in her hand. She offered a small smile, as she was glad this first part was so far going smoothly. As for trying to get it on the horse, that would be a much different story. Introducing these objects was a good start. She offered it out for the creature to sniff or touch it or whatever she held in her heart to do to it. Hailey wanted her to know this wasn't going to hurt her.
