The gray jumped nearly straight, all four legs kicked out,her eyes wide and she flew into a gallop and bucking inbetween almost every stride. Her mane flew an ash gray blur. Her legs slid under her as she came to an abrupt halt, then spun, rearing in the process. Her forelegs scraped the sky,her auds pinned and she bolted again, only to reach the end and whirl around, then charge in the other direction, bucking, kicking, and spinning while she did so.

Hailey held so tightly to the reins that her knuckles turned white and her finger nails dug into her palms. She wasn't going to let the horse win, no chance was there. Sure, if she gets thrown off it seems like a loss, but she'd be back. She was going to teach this horse to learn to be ridden and she'd take as long as she needed to take to teach her to the full extent. The creature was powerful and full of energy. With a touch of shampoo and a nice brushing, this girl be one of the most gorgeous creatures Hailey has ever had the pleasure of owning. Hailey's foot slipped from the stirrup and quickly she recovered, remaining in the saddle as the series of kicks and spins and jumps went about. Hailey pulled roughly on the reins to try and control the horse, but her gripped slipped and she flew from the horse's back, hitting the ground.
A sharp pain in her leg stabbed sharply at her veins, but worry of where the horse would land next was enough to propel her up and over the railing of the pen. She climbed over the rails and dropped down to sit on a bucket over by the fence where Da Vinci stood, pulling at the sleeve of her shirt. He was trying to see if she was alright. He knew Hailey was a pretty well off girl, but sometimes she managed to get herself into more she could handle. He had confidence in his human that she could break the filly, but for now that landing looked like it killed. She rubbed the stallion's muzzle and tried to stretch out her leg but pain splintered through her lower half. She'd break that mare, but for now she had landed on her leg wrong and shock had quickly set in so her leg was practically numb.

Serenity shook her whole body as the reins tightened,a sharp pain and cold sensation running through her mouth as the bit pulled over her toung.Once Hailey was off and catopulted over th fence,Serenity continued her bucking spree, but pricked her ears, soon she slowed. Her neck lathered in a dark sweat, her eyes wide with so called terror, and her barrel heaved from the exhersion. She stopped, and faced Hailey, reins dangling along her neck and had somehow managed to end up unbroken in her fanatic run.The saddle had clung tight to her back and sweat dripped from under the heavy piece of leather.

Hailey watched the horse as she slowed soon after Hailey was thrown off. The horse looked at her with terror showing in her deep, but gorgeous eyes. Hailey's eyes showed an unusual calmness about her figure, aside from a bit of shock from being thrown so hard. Usually the horse would spin too tightly and she'd be thrown off right at the ground, but if she wasn't mistaken, she'd gotten some air on that one and landed on her leg in an unwanted manner. She could feel her heart throbbing in her chest as she watched the creature.
Sometimes, Hailey thought to herself. Horses deserve more respect then most humans. they gave more effort in things then most humans ever would and their strength was admirable. The creature was young, and the signs of youth flowed through her veins and rippled the muscles within her figure. Hailey stood very carefully, letting a hand rest on the back of the joint in her leg as she carefully made her distance between herself and the horse decreased to about the size of two feet. A very hesitant hand reached out toward the bars and she held one of them, using the fence to support her weight.”You’re strong, I’ll give you that… But you haven’t won just yet…” Hailey said quietly, looking at the horse with admiration.

Serenity pricked her ears falsely, she stepped forward, closing ground between equine and human. The gray snorted, her auds melted backward, sinking into her multi-colored, gray-white forelock. She barred sharp teeth, and bounced on her front end, then rose in a small rear. She landed evenly, and slightly raised one ear to hear any words of Hailey's.Her thick mane fell like a waterfall over her smooth neck, tail lifted high and proud.Even in such a tired stance,Serenity lifted her head high, ears pricked to full extent, and nostrils flareing pink.

Hailey smirked as she watched the creature, knowing she was safe out here. Sure, maybe that was kind of cowardly, to know she was safe out here when she could be in there, getting back on her back and trying to force her to give in. She could have already been back on the creature and she could be digging her boots into the horse's sides and pulling hard on the reins to try and break the filly, but she wasn't. She was just looking at the horse with a grin on her face. She'd go get the brace that she had for her knee, and hopefully within a little while, and after a few stretches and a pain pill, she'd be back on the horse, forcing the filly to give in and learn to listen to her. Hailey watched the horse raise her head with pride and only muttered as she walked away. "You haven't won yet..."
Da Vinci pricked his ears up as he watched Hailey step closer to the filly and then limp off, muttering the words he'd heard once before. When she'd been asked to break a stallion that her cousin caught. He'd been the only horse that Hailey hadn't been able to break. He'd been the first horse that threw her hard enough to make her land and dislocate her knee. Now she was faced with that same problem again, but a different horse. "She likes you. I hope you don’t think you have a chance of getting away anytime soon..." he replied with a small smile on his mug. Hailey was bound and determined to not let this mare win. She wasn't going to let another win over her.

Serenity snorted and shook her body, walking toward the trough that held clear water. She took long sips. The cinch around her stomache pulled tight and strong. Her chest moved steadily, but quickley, up and down, up and down. Her legs collapsed under her as she neared the fence, she lowered herself gently to the ground, the saddle creaking as she did so.

Da Vinci watched her quietly as she lowered her tired body to the ground after a long, and most likely refreshing drink. A smug smile remained on his features. It was interesting to see the very proud filly let her tired legs give in. Pulling against him earlier and trying to rid Hailey from her back must have been a pain for her. His ears perked up slightly as he watched her in silence. Hailey made her way back outside from the barn and here was a black brace on her leg. She was walking better since she couldn't feel the pain that surged through her muscles, but she still didn’t look as if she was able to get back on the filly, especially since she was laying down now. Her eyes looked over at the creature as she laid there on the ground. A small smile crossed over her features. "Rest up..." she said as she put some water out for Da Vinci and added some fresh to the filly's bucket.

Serenoty struggled to her feet as Hailey dragged the snake toward her water trough. She eyed it warily, tossing her head, reins flying about her face.
The filly woke quickley and trudged from her spot under a tree to steal a sip of cool, freshing water. Both reins now dangled dangerously amoung her hooves. The saddle still held tight, and the dripping sweat had dryed, leaving dirty streaks down her side. Her neck and flanks where just as the streaks, the hair twisted this way and that.

Hailey lingered around the water trough as the filly near it. She rolled up the hose a little bit and set it aside as she carefully opened the gate. She carefully shut it behind her, and reached over to gently ease the bridle off the creature's head. The reins were hanging down by her hooves and she didn't want the horse to get hurt. She eased it over her ears and off her face before she could move so there was no chance of it getting around her legs. She opened the gate then and slipped out as she closed it once more. She hung the bridle up, away from her and tried to figure a way to get the saddle off so she could try and hose her off.
The brace on her leg prevented a lot of movement. Usually she'd slip through the rails of the fence or she'd just climb over them, but with the brace it made such strange movements rather challenging and it wasn't worth slipping. She carefully slipped back into the area again and made sure the filly could see her, and that she wouldn't try and charge at her. She needed to get the saddle off her back.
