Serenity's hooves danced under hr as she moved into the unfamilier place. Her nares flared red.Her icey eyes shone bright against the sun, rolling in fear.A sense of dread draped over the two year olds shoulders. She snorted, breaking into a lofty trot, awaiting something to help her.She tossed her head and reared allowing a whinny to escape her vocal cords.

The girl rode in on her dashing young gelding and found that the area was silent and calming. She loved being in the canyons for it was gorgeous and hardly ever was anyone around. It gave her time to just ride with Da Vinci and see the beautiful area that she lived near. She would live within the canyon area, but her brother had found it to be an absurd idea and proposed that they live in the town where everyone else lived. She swore he was crazy, but he liked it there no matter how anti-social he was, so she stayed there and her father was there as well. She wished that she could live out here and with her families fortune she could! For now however she chose to stay in the town, working at the club and living in her gorgeous house.
Da Vinci snorted softly as his brown eyes landed upon the creature that trotted through the lands that were all too familiar to him. His hooves cut against the ground as he tried to get Hailey's attention without making too much of a ruckus that might scare the creature away. He bumped his back hooves a bit, hoping to startle his human so she'd look at what he saw. Hailey almost yelled out in shock as Da Vinci raised his back hooves off the ground. She covered her mouth with her hands as eyes were laid upon the gorgeous horse that roamed over the lands around her. "Beautiful..." she murmured with almost silent tones as she watched the creature move through the area. What a gorgeous gait, it was so smooth and she moved flawlessly. Its coat was gorgeous too, gleaming in the golden sunlight.
She made a soft clicking sound and Da Vinci trotted forward, around the back of the other so he would no startle the other creature. His deep eyes watched her and a small smirk formed itself upon the creature's face. They slowed to an extended walk as they followed the mare. A walk was a lot quieter on the rock of the canyon then any trot could ever be. Hailey pulled a rope from the side of his saddle that she might have used in an emergency and readied herself to throw it. Jacoby was much better at this kind of thing then she because he didn't feel any worry that he might miss. He was calm about it and looked as though he didn't need to concentrate. Hailey however needed her complete attention and with as antsy as Vinci was she worried. He pushed forward at a canter, his feet cutting into the ground as they closed in on the mare. Hailey readied herself as they got closer.

Serenity was all too confused of the sights and smells, the scent of a horse warned her,but she took no notice,as the human had not yet reached her.The rope creaked as it unfolded,Serenity's delicate auds flicked backward,an unfamilier smell entered her.Her eyes rolled and the half bred Mustang two year old tossed her mane, and instead of running spun to face the oncomer. She tossed her head again, thick mane tumbling down her boa,her forelegs struck the air as she rose in a rear.

Da Vinci neared the mare and he was hoping she would have run so he could show off his speed, but then to his surprise she only reared. It brought disappointment to his mind but none the less he only half reared and went toward her, his pistons slowly only briefly as they went by so Hailey had a chance to throw the rope around the creature's neck. He plunged forward with his speed again making sure to keep a distance from the mare but to get a tight hold on her. He backed away, forcing his hooves into the ground and using his strength to keep himself in place.
Hailey was worried she'd miss, but the rope hooked around the mare's neck and Da Vinci tightened it as he pulled forward and then dug his hooves into the ground getting a firm hold. She hoped the stallion was stronger then the wild mare, because at the moment she had no power. It was between the two horses until Da Vinci was able to break her down.
comments;; sorry for the sucky post.

Serenity plummeted backward, nearly flipping herself over. The gray through a wild buck, she strained against the rope, the stallion before her was strong, but true.Serenity was strong, but wild. The two year old was smart. She loosened the grip on the rope, calmly walking forward, her auds pricked slightly.Suddenly they melted against her skull, and she rushed forward, her irons aiming for Hailey's leg,but the filly only missed, and plunged forward,bouncing,crow-hoping and bucking in the process, trying to rid herself of the rope that constricted her neck. Her pistons powered forward, musles working harder every inch, she continued to strain forward,Her mane flew a wild mess, only a flash of gray against the early sun.

Da Vinci didn't let her get closer to him and Hailey as she advanced with at first a calm and easy look. There was no way that would have this ended easily. She kicked her pistons out, sharp irons barley missing his side and Hailey's leg. Da Vinci receded quickly, pulling the rope tight around her neck. The young horse went wild and Da Vinci kept his hooves firmly on the ground, moving backward just enough to keep the rope tight. She would eventually become tired. She pulled forward then, testing his strength as she pulled forward and he pulled backward. A snort escaped his nares and auds turned down to become one with his skull. He backed up, cutting his hooves into the dry Earth below him. Hailey patted the stallion's neck urging him. Da Vinci could feel every muscle working in side him as he pulled the rope tighter in his direction. His eyes were focused on the creature in front, watching as she pulled forward, never willingly to back down. He loosened his grip on the rope then, hoping to throw her off balance, then quickly backed himself up to strengthen his hold on her.

Serenity stumbled as the stallion loosened grip, her knees ramming into the Earth, she struggled back to her feet as the rope tightened again. The young animal had a hot sweat lathered on her neck and flanks. Her mouth foamed,a white froth splattering against her chest as she tossed her head. Her legs shook with effort, exersion running through her veins. Her sides heaved. The filly pawed, eyes white and rolling.Serenity pawed, her feet stayed in place. She acted as if she was going down, but stood up straight once again.

Da Vinci's legs loosened the grip he had as he thought that the mare may have given up, but she stood up straight again and tugged him forward a few feet and his muscles tightened again and dug into the each, peeling up pieces of it as if it were meant to be pulled off. An annoyed whinny left his vocals as he pawed the ground and pulled backwards still. His muscles ached and he wished there was another rope so Hailey could have just pulled a leg away from her and they could take her off but no, he had to fight this stupid mare because he'd seen her. He should have just stayed quiet and let Hailey's eyes wander. In all reality she would have never even seen the creature if he wouldn't have bothered to show her.
With a burst of strength and determination to put the mare into her place he jumped forward and turned to run, his hooves cutting into the ground below him and hoping to finally win this struggle that might last many longer minutes. He tossed his cranium and pulled against the mare, hoping these last steps would finish the whole bit so they could leave the hot sun that stared down upon their figures, threatening to turn their flesh into flames.

The filly stumbled as the stallion rushed forward, her legs fell out from underneath her and she fell.Serenity landed harshly on her side, the filly was up in a flash, even if she was following her captor, she wanted to avoid falling again.

Da Vinci's legs could have almost screamed thanks to the heavens as the filly finally gave in after she collapsed to the ground. He stayed ahead of the creature, making sure that she didn't dare to aim a harsh kick toward Hailey. The girl stroked the stallion's neck as she gently eased him back toward their home, where the filly would be living now. Da Vinci was grateful to be getting out of the sun and finding a nice place to relax for a little while until he decided to get to know the creature.

They arrived at the barn a short 15 minutes later and Da Vinci lead the mare into a large outside pen. He quickly trotted out, still giving them distance because of the rope. Hailey loosened it from his neck and very carefully moved Da Vinci up next to the fence so she could loosen it and lift it away from the mare without causing her to panic. Even the slightest flinch from the mare caused Hailey to flinch and when she finally eased the rope from the creature's neck she eased herself off the stallion's back and ground tied him for a minute as she went to go get some water for both horses. There were buckets set out there and she knew the hose could reach over here and she could fill the buckets with some refreshing water after their hard work. "You put up quite the fight." Da Vinci spoke quietly, his deep tones fading away into the silence between them as he dropped his head to uproot some of the grass below him.
