She honestly wouldn't mind persuading him to be her partener for her regional competition that was coming up. She knew that she would be paired up with some terrible dancer if she didn't claim one now. she wondered how she could tell him. With her moves maybe she would be able to get him to agree. Or maybe it would be better to arange a meeting for a later day and ask him then. they went to the same school but she doughted if she would see him without arranging a meeting. She didn't have the same classes as him and there were over 500 students at her school, it would be pretty hard to find one single guy. She didn't even know his name for god sakes, well he didn't know her's either so it was fair in that sense.

If she watched track or knew any tennis players she could find him then. Adrian was well involved with tennis and track as well as being a dance fanatic. In the words of his father "Adrian is a sissy and can't handle the MAN sports. He is too weak to play and sports that actually matter in life like football." The words rang in his head every time he hit the tennis ball over the net or when he beat his former time over the hurdles. It made no sense how his father could have no courage in whatever he did. The song came to an end and whether she wanted it or not, she got a hug. "That was fun. You're a great dancer." he said as he let go of her with a small smile showing on his features. He gave hugs all the time whether people were expecting it or not. He always caught people by surprise when he hugged them.

He looked at her with a wondering smile. "Yeah sure. How often are you here?" he asked. Adrian was here nightly because he worked a tight shift. He worked the main party hour and the boss said Adrian, Damien and the third bartender were the best three he had so he put them on the busiest of the hours. He didn't even known the name of the third bartender though he did a good job in keeping the crowd satisfied.

"Nah, I work here every night, and even still when I get a lot of homework I come here. I got a lot of my points when I was an underclassman because of higher level classes. I only need a few more credits so I can graduate." This place was a major part of his life and he loved it dearly. He didn't know where he would be without it. He listened as she said she was going to regionals. "Aww, you're so lucky... I don't have anyone to go with, and I don't think I'd do all that well anyway..." he said, dropping his eyes. He didn't think he would do that well at all. Not compared to all those other people that would be attending... He was completely oblivious to the fact that she was hiting at him that she needed a partner... This was one of his off moments where he felt that he was not good enough to go. He wasn't as good as any of them and never would be. He raised his eyes a bit then as she said he might not see her for a while. "Well, I don't think I have ever seen you in the halls. I thought I might have seen you at lunch one time.... Do you have the second lunch period?" he asked, wondering if it had been her that he saw.

On Wednesday I do, all of the other days, lunch is pretty much none existant for me she said somewhat sadly. REally, she hated being starved but really, a girl's got to do want a girl's got to do, plus she has to hold auditions for her dance partner this week.

"Ohh... I would die without food. Everyone says I don't look like I eat much, but tennis, track and dancing keep you quite thin." he said with a laugh as he patted his stomach. There wasn't much there, but you could feel how toned his body was underneath the tight clothes. He wasn't bulgy like some of those overly muscular men where, but he stayed in shape as he practiced all year 'round. He worked on his time in track and when he got bored he switched to tennis, and then he practiced dancing whenever he was alone or found someone good enough to be a partner with.

I just give puppy eye to my teachers and they let me eat during class. she said with a faint smile. Most of the time she lived off water, Fesca and Coke. It wasn't perfectly heathy but then again, it was better then eating too much food.

"Nice. Lunch is probably my favorite period because I didn't get many classes with my friends in them. Lunch is where all my friends are." he said with a smile. The other dancer's had slowly eased their way around Adrian and the girl so that they were now at the edge of the dance floor. No one liked talkers and they weren't exactly dancing anymore. He laughed at the thought. "Looks like we got pushed out." he said with a smile as he eased over to a stool at the bar. "What's your name anyway? I'm Adrian." he said with a pleasant smile.
